What Happens During a Smear Test? Smear Test Anxiety – The Myths and Truths When to see a Doctor for a Cough Your Guide To Body Mass Index
We now use appointment reminder texts for our patients so you can keep track of your booked appointments with the GP, providing an efficient and organised system for tracking booked consultations or sessions with your GP. The NHS appointment text message service helps reduce delays in the surgery and ensures you never miss an appointment, this service, therefore, benefits both the patient and the GP.
We send text message reminders to the mobile number we have on record for you at the practice. If you don’t have your number on our file, or you’re not sure whether it has been added, you can inform us of your mobile number for receiving NHS text reminders and appointments by contacting the surgery.
To receive these text reminders, please ensure your mobile number is always up-to-date. We also use this number to contact you during emergencies and to occasionally send important information.
If you prefer not to be contacted via text, please call reception and we’ll make this amendment for you.
Did you know you can also request to book and manage appointments online? Take a look at Patient Access to use online services.
